  JJ Electric Service made some electrical changes to get my house ready for sale. He replaced and installed a new a new outlet if there wasn’t one. They had excellent communications with me when I was setting up the appointment and scheduling the work. While he was there, he was careful to explain everything what needed to be done and why so that I was able to make a proper choice of what should be done.

  John was just great! He came out quickly, found the problem right away and charged me a lot less than I expected. (It may not look that way, but the state requires him to issue a $35 permit for even the smallest job.) Very nice guy and terrific service.

  Much to our delight, he offered to come out the same day. In about an hour he was there and installing our new outlet. He worked efficiently, explained what he was fixing, why it had broken, and even showed my husband how to fix the outlet for in the future. The cost was very reasonable. So much so that we might have him come back out to work on a project we were planning on tackling ourselves. My only disappointment is that I did not call sooner to have the outlets fixed. Had I only known how quick and affordable this project would have been I’d have called so much sooner!

  We think that John was a godsend. We are selling our home and had a home inspection report with electrical items which needed repair by a licensed electrician and no sooner had I submitted my request on Home Advisor we received a call from John. He came to work on a Sunday, which was the day after our request and stayed until the work was done. He had a great attitude and explained fully what he was doing and rates were extremely reasonable. I would definitely recommend him to our friends.

  John shows a lot of competence and professionalism. He seems to know his stuff and I never got any feeling that he was giving me less than his best work. His prices are very fair.

• I have hired this company twice. He installed a fan in my bathroom and changed all the light fixtures. I had John meet me at Home Depot to help me choose the light fixtures, which I thought was very nice of him to take that extra time. He also fixed an issue with my electric panel, which was then checked out by the home inspector and everything was good to go. He was on time, very responsible, and explained everything he was doing.

  JJ Electric was the best vendor we used from handyman.com. He was so helpful and came out on a Sunday and was just a “regular” guy. He gave good advice and was prompt and thorough and knew what he was doing. If we ever need Electric work again, he would be the first one we call- Straight A’s across the board. It went perfectly-He fixed all the noted items and on a weekend. I can’t remember the price but it was very reasonable.

  I used JJ Electric. When I moved in, the living room had one overhead light, and it was like walking into a cave at night, so I had him come in and install more overhead lights, and then later he came back when I had to install a chandelier in the dining room, and also one in the kitchen over the sink, and a new porch light. I was amazed at how quick he got things done. I was very pleased. I would have him back in a minute if I needed him.

  I couldn’t have asked for better results on my panel replacement. Customer service can’t be beat. I am having an AC unit installed later this month and John said to call him when the work is scheduled so he can come out and finish the wiring for the AC unit instead of just leaving some unconnected wires hanging out. He also knocked a bottle of BBQ sauce onto my garage floor and cleaned it up and insisted on paying for it. Excellent service. I highly recommend JJ Electric Service.

  John was very prompt and courteous. He figured out the source of the problem and got it fixed quickly. His rate was reasonable.

  Hiring a sub contractor to come into your home to do things you cannot is a necessary evil. However hiring JJ electrical to run a 240 volt line 40 ft from my garage to my upstairs bathroom was easy. The work only took one day and was done with the highest possible measure of professionalism. I definitely recommend this company….
